You know it from the hospital and hopefully haven't had to use it yourself yet...  the little red button that calls the nurse...

However, patient call systems can do much more and can also be used in a simple form for home use.

Networking and use of IP technology is a matter of course for us today. Whether at home or in the office, controlling lights, multimedia or our heating... we already use this technology in many ways, sometimes even in the car.
